Best Connections is a locally owned full service telephone answering  and virtual receptionist service.  We specialize in providing customized service to a large variety of clients. 

 

We are seeking team members who are bright, articulate, and dedicated to providing exemplary service to our clients and maintaining an enjoyable work environment for all. 

 

We offer both full-time and part-time employment. 

We are open every day of the year, 24 hours a day.  We never close.  

All employees are expected to work some weekends and holidays. 

Shifts vary and we do offer some flexible scheduling. 

This job involves more than answering phone and saying hello.  We act as an extension of the businesses we represent.  A few clients just want us to relay simple messages.  Many more clients want us to provide callers with detailed information and assistance.  Some accounts deal with emergency service or urgent medical situations.  Our phone system is computerized. Account information is presented to you on a computer screen as the call is answered.  Messages are typed in on a keyboard during the call.  Since we represent our  client’s businesses to the callers, we expect our employees to be competent, polite, and engaged at all times. As a telephone receptionist, you will be expected to learn to operate the computer / phone system and to learn information about the accounts we work with.  At times, this work can be very demanding and fast paced with multiple lines ringing or holding at once.  During these times it is necessary to efficiently prioritize and juggle calls while remaining polite and calm.  This job requires a strong focus on service and professionalism and a desire to help people.

  •  Customer service oriented.  Good people skills.  A strong desire to be of assistance.
  •  Positive Attitude
  •  Attention to detail.
  •  Good speaking voice.  Willing to learn proper telephone etiquette and speech habits.
  •  Typing/keyboarding. MUST BE ABLE to touch type 35-40 wpm, what someone is saying while they speak.
  • If you cannot type without looking at the keys, please do not apply. 
  •  Excellent spelling and grammar
  •  Desire for continuous personal growth and learning
  •  Quick thinking, able to prioritize in a pressure situation
  •  Dependable with a strong work ethic; Punctuality and good attendance required.
  •  Able to maintain confidentiality
  •  Work independently as well as with the team. 
  •  Physically able to sit for up to 4 hours at a time.
